Graceland Thrift Store is open to the public. We offer high-quality, gently-used household items, clothing, and furniture at affordable prices. You’re invited to come and shop or bring your own gently-used items to donate. Our friendly volunteers and staff work to make your shopping and donating experience easy and fun.
Graceland Thrift Store, named for “Mama Grace” Duke, opened in 1984. When Mama Grace retired from being a house parent at The Children’s Village, she began this ministry as a “yard sale” to raise money for the children. More than three decades later, her vision is going strong, serving the community and raising funds for The Children’s Village.
Mission – Helping Our Kids
Profits from Graceland Thrift Store help cover educational expenses for The Children’s Village where victims of abuse and abandonment now live safely with house parents in family-structured homes.
Thanks to a generous donor, Graceland Thrift Store expanded into a new 12,000 sq. ft. building in 2013. The additional space allows us to display more inventory and enables shoppers to move easily through the aisles. New lighting and signage also improved the shopping experience.
