2026 Christmas Star Run and Tree Lighting

The Christmas Star Run & Tree Lighting event is a festive and exciting evening of shared holiday fun benefiting Christian City’s Children & Family Programs.
Kick off your holidays and let your light shine at a family-friendly evening filled with Christmas cheer.

- 6:00 pm - Tree Lighting
Participants will gather on the Christian City campus for a 5K and 1-Mile fun run along with our annual tree lighting event featuring food trucks, music, holiday lights, the Coca-Cola holiday truck and, of course, photos with Santa Claus.
Proceeds from the evening support Christian City’s five Children & Family Programs at Christian City. Christian City was established as a home for children in 1965, by a collective of churches who saw a need in our community. Today, Christian City’s 500-acre campus serves children of all ages who are struggling with poverty, homelessness, neglect or abuse, helps families who are in crisis and provides affordable housing for over 1,000 seniors.
