  • Loving House Parents
    House parents provide a stable ecosystem for youth living in the Children’s Village.
  • Residential Advisor
    Direct care, supervision, and support to the youth residing at Christian City.
  • Safe Place Coordinator
    Coordinate program providing short-term shelter for runaway or homeless youth.
  • Residential Program Manager
    Manage residential programs in the Children’s Village.
  • Behavioral Aide
    Provides one-on-one behavioral interventions with children and youth.
  • Major Gifts Officer
    Identifies, cultivates and stewards major and planned gift prospects and donors.

Seeking Loving House Parents

Is God calling you to the Children’s Village at Christian City? Are you interested in making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable youth?

The Children’s Village at Christian City provides safety, stability, and love to vulnerable children in our family-style group homes where children can heal and grow.

As critical members of the Children’s Village team, ministering house parents provide a stable ecosystem where youth can work through their challenges, learn new skills, embark on healing, and when possible, help facilitate the process of family reunification.

Employment Expectations & Benefits

MINISTERING HOUSE PARENT COUPLES receive full-time salary, 100% employer-paid health benefits, housing with all utilities paid, and a budget for their cottage.

Ministering house parents’ schedule is twentyone active days on-duty followed by nine days off for rest, rejuvenation, and self-care.

Ministering house parents are responsible for the daily care of the youth living in their home to include meals, housework, schoolwork, transportation, therapy, recreation, church, devotions, extra-curricular activities, daily paperwork, transportation to counseling, doctors, home visits, etc.
