Why Graceland?
It’s not that Graceland. The thrift store, which opened in 1984, is named for “Mama Grace” Duke. When Mama Grace retired from being a house parent at the Children’s Village, she began this ministry as a “yard sale” to raise money for the children. More than four decades later, her vision is going strong, serving the community and raising funds to help the children who come to Christian City in need of love and healing.
Driving Directions

Continue past the entrance to the Christian City Welcome Center/Main entrance and pass Azalea Drive. Graceland Thrift Store is on your right behind the chain link fence. Donations are received at the front entrance facing Red Oak Road.
Grace overflows at Graceland.
In 2013, a generous donor helped the store expand into a new 12,000 sq. ft. building. The upgrade gave us more space, better lighting and signage – all improving the shopping experience.
Volunteers keep us running.
Dependable volunteers keep our ministry operational. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities at Graceland, from sorting donations to pricing items for sale to stocking and organizing the store to serving as a cashier. If you are interested in giving us a helping hand, please call the store.
