Christian City is honoring individuals and businesses that have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment towards the betterment of our Atlanta community. Each of our honorees has made an indelible impact on improving the Atlanta community. The Community Champion Awards dinner will pay tribute to special and deserving recipients in three categories: Individual, Nonprofit and Corporate.
2021 Community Champion Award Recipients
Dan Cathy, Chairman and CEO of Chick-fil-A, is recognized for his life-long commitment of giving to others. Dan’s dedication to helping metro Atlanta communities is exemplified by his many years of volunteer work and philanthropic efforts. His involvement with numerous ministries and nonprofits has changed the trajectory of thousands of lives.

100 Black Men of Atlanta is recognized for dedication to supporting and enhancing economic and educational opportunities for African Americans in our communities. The group’s focus on public policy, social and health issues has had a lasting impact on youth in metro Atlanta.

The Home Depot is recognized for the company’s immense impact through programs that have touched hundreds of thousands of lives by funding community impact projects, providing veteran housing grants, responding to areas devasted by natural disasters, and supporting front-line workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
