Car Show Fun for All
Fords and Chevys and Mercurys, oh my!
On September 6, the Christian City Car Show commemorating Christian City’s 60 year of service to the community was held at the Children’s Village pavilion. Visitors to the show enjoyed a nostalgic trip down memory lane viewing the thirty-one fabulous cars which were on display. (The “People’s Choice” winner is pictured with the 1965 Cobra.)

Cars, music, food & fun
Snacks to Go, Brew-tiful Difference Coffee, and 4D Street Eats provided delicious food and drink while the crowd was entertained by live music from the Senoia Jammers and Jeanine Duke. Lucky door prize winners were announced throughout the event with the grand prize winner taking home a Blackstone Griddle!
The climax of the show was the awarding of the People’s Choice Awards and runners up. The runners up, chosen by guests attending the show, were: 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2Dr Sedan, 1966 Ford Mustang, 1966 Chevy Impala and 1971 Chevy Nova. The People’s Choice Award went to the 1965 Unique Cobra which was an overwhelming crowd favorite and so appropriate as it was manufactured the same year that Christian City was established!
