Althea has been in the healthcare industry for the past 28 years. She has served in various roles ranging from Staff Nurse to Director of Surgical Services for a large hospital-based system. Throughout the years she has enjoyed 21 years of management experiences in the Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care, Intensive Care Units, Ambulatory Surgery and Home Health. As a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, she has also served in various quality assurance roles and oversight of quality programs. For the past 10 years, Althea has served as a Home Health Administrator.

She obtained her BSN from the College of New Rochelle and MBA from Long Island/ CW Post University in New York. She is passionate about the elderly, and serves in a volunteer capacity working with children and youth in her church community. She also works with the special needs community providing support and mentorship for parents of children and youth with special needs.

Althea believes in providing wholistic care to both her patients and clinicians and that “only the best is good enough” in our ever-changing healthcare environment.
