Director of Residential Programs
Originally from Southfield, Michigan, Samantha received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Madonna University. She received both her Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wayne State University. Samantha has over 16 years of experience working with at-risk youth, runaway and homeless youth, foster care youth, domestic violence survivors, substance abuse counseling, family reunification counseling, group therapy, and program operations for: homeless veterans, chronically homeless (co-occurring disorders), HOPWA programs (those living with HIV/AIDS), community outreach programs and community kitchens.
Samantha has been married for over 25 years to her best friend, and together they have a daughter. The family lives in Conyers, Georgia, and has a French bulldog named Charlie.
Samantha loves traveling, especially road trips. She enjoys spending time with family and connecting with childhood friends on social media. She enjoys going to the movies on the weekend with her husband and having thoughtful conversations on social issues. Samantha loves to listen to all genres of music and has a preference for R&B and contemporary gospel.
Samantha believes that serving others is her calling and enjoys being able to walk both in faith and in mission.
