Nakia has been working in human and social services for 14 years. With a passion and purpose for helping others, she has been at Christian City since February 2015 serving in Active Senior Living as the Service Coordinator at John Sparks Manor.
Nakia likes to say she was born and raised in the Carolinas. She was born in Shelby, NC, and raised in Gaffney, South Carolina. She attended Winthrop University earning a B.A. in Psychology and is a recent graduate of Brenau University earning an M.S. in Applied Gerontology.
Nakia is married to JT Richardson and they have two children. She and her family moved to Georgia in 2014. Nakia enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, reading and making special memories with friends and family.
