The most practical and convenient way to help is by becoming a monthly donor. As a GEM, Gives Every Month, you will be invited to attend periodic updates with Christian City’s CEO and receive a special designation on our donor list.

To become a GEM simply set up an automatic charge to your credit card or a debit to your bank account each month. Check “make this a monthly gift” on the online form or contact Lisa Tolleson at (770) 703-2689 to set up an electronic funds transfer from your bank account.

You can make a donation in memory or in honor of a family member, friend, an individual, or in recognition of a special occasion. Memorial and Honorarium gifts express what words alone cannot and provide important support for Christian City, Inc. Please use the form above to make this type of donation.

Become a Legacy Provider by including Christian City in your estate planning. We recognize our Legacy Providers as those thoughtful and generous people who have sought to help fulfill Christian City’s mission even beyond their own lives. Legacy Providers are recognized on the Christian City website and in our annual report. Please consult your financial planner for what works best for you.

If you have questions, or would like to make a legacy gift, please contact LaVann Landrum:

Matching gifts and volunteer grants from your employer could double or triple the impact of your contribution! Please contact the human resources department to find out if your company or your spouse’s company offers a matching gift or volunteer grant program. If your company matches contributions or your volunteer service, they can supply you with the necessary form for Christian City to receive the match. Simply complete and return the form to our Financial Development Department at Christian City, or send it in with your contribution. Retirees are often eligible for this benefit as well.

You can make a difference in the life of a child by donating items to Graceland Thrift Store or by donating gift cards to grocery stores, Walmart, or Target.

Many of the youth living at Christian City are sent to private schools in order to get extra help with special learning challenges or catch up to graduate on time. Through the Georgia Private School Tax Credit Program, you can direct a portion of your tax liability to the private school of your choice and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Georgia income taxes. Simply designate Christian City as your choice when signing up for the program. There is no cost to you, but a huge benefit to Christian City. Businesses, as well as individuals, can participate. Financial Accountability

Christian City promises life-changing hope through faith, community and care – both for at-risk children as well as the many senior adults living on our campus. We are dependent upon the generosity of individuals, churches, civic organizations, businesses and foundations to provide the resources needed to maintain our programs, facilities and implement our strategic plan for the future. With your support, you help those served by Christian City have hope-filled lives.

As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, donations to Christian City are tax-deductible. Our Federal Tax ID # is 58-0917609.

Creative Ways To Get Involved, Volunteer and Make A Difference.

We’re regularly in need of donated items for our families, children and foster/adoptive families. Click or tap here to learn more about Graceland Thrift Store.

We are grateful for the generosity of our donors, who often sponsor fun outings for our children to places such as Six Flags and Skyzone, among others. If you are interested in sponsoring an outing or sending a birthday gift to one of our children, please contact us.

We welcome the involvement of current and retired teachers who are interested in volunteering their time and expertise to work with the children in our programs. If you are interested in volunteering as a tutor, please contact us.

Host families are passionate about developing personal relationships with the children in our program, and provide them with a warm, nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive. If you are interested in becoming a host family, please contact us.

Get your involved by inviting families and individuals to take a “cardboard cottage” home and fill it up. All ages can help provide nutritious meals for one Children’s Village cottage. $1000 will feed 10 children for one month! The Month of Meals campaign is fairly simple, and any church of any size can have a huge impact on the lives of abandoned and neglected children and teens who live at Christian City Children’s Village.

To sign up, please contact dgarrett@christiancity.org.

If your civic organization, church group or employee group is interested in volunteering to complete a project or assist with worship services at Christian City, please contact the volunteer coordinator two weeks in advance of your requested date. Group projects are exempt from the individual volunteer application requirements.

For more information about a group volunteer project, contact Elizabeth Mansour, Volunteer Coordinator, at emansour@christiancity.org.
