As part of the financial development team, Lissa is responsible for general office functions in support of the development department, special event logistics, representing Christian City at agency events, social media campaigns, donor relations and volunteer coordination.

After graduating with a business degree from Auburn University, Lissa began a career in Marketing and Business Development. While working for ABB Environmental Systems as their Marketing Manager, she traveled across the United States in support of the ABB sales team. She wrote and produced collateral materials, organized employee and client events, handled public relations and collaborated with other ABB divisions for trade show participation and advertising. Most recently, Lissa worked with the Coweta County School System after being a stay-at-home mother for 14 years.

Lissa lives in Newnan and has three adult children. She is an active member and serves as an Elder of Newnan Presbyterian Church. Lissa has been involved in the Coweta-Fayette Auburn Alumni Club, The City of Newnan Beautification Board, The Ferst Foundation as well as volunteering with various charitable organizations. She was among the first graduating class of the Newnan Citizen’s Academy.

Tailgating/Watching college football.

To Kill a Mockingbird. I’ve probably read it 9 or 10 times.

Favorite Food:

Fried Pork Chops, although I never get to eat them.

Blue. It reminds me of water which has a calming effect on me. My dream is to one day live in a home with a large porch overlooking the water.

Bruno Mars. You just have to get up and dance when any of his songs come on!

Growing up on a farm in Alabama, there are too many great memories to pick a favorite.

My children, although Chick-fil-a sweet tea is a close second.
