John has dedicated over forty years to the ministries of Christian City. He first began his mission serving as a house parent in The Children’s Village, caring for the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of multiple children for over six years. Following this position, he was approached to establish a maintenance department for the newly built nursing home facility. John developed policies and procedures to provide services for the operation of maintaining the physical care of the buildings and grounds for Christian City property that has now grown to cover 500 acres.

In his current position, John oversees several departments, including Maintenance, Security, Switchboard, Information Technology, Human Resources, Emergency Preparedness, and Volunteer Services.

John is a native Georgian and spent his childhood in East Point. He graduated from Briarwood High School and attended Atlanta Area Tech, where he received his state license in HVAC and a Certificate Manager of Maintenance (CMM). He also holds licenses and certifications in Certified Pool Operator (CPO), Universal EPA Certification in Refrigeration, EPA Soil Disturbance and ICS in Emergency Management.

John and his wife, Donna, live in the Sun City Peachtree development in Griffin, Ga. They are members of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
