George Martin
Chief Operating Officer
George is responsible for implementation of all operational strategies on the Christian City campus and for maintaining all financial and budgetary targets. He also oversees renovation and construction projects on campus as we have moved beyond our 50th anniversary.
Prior to joining Christian City, George had a 30-year career with the U.S. Postal Service. Before retirement, he served as the senior national manager for USPS package processing and transportation operations where he managed a network of 21 large processing plants and a workforce of over 25,000 employees.
George volunteers at church, Rotary club, and several other local charities. He has served on the Peachtree City Recreation Commission, the Board of Directors for Promise Place Domestic Violence Shelter, is Past President of the Rotary Club of Peachtree City, Past President of the Peachtree City Running Club and now manages, as a volunteer, 25+ running road races a year, primarily for fundraisers in the local elementary schools of Fayette County.
George graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Pre-Law degree and then completed his MBA at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
