Kay has been a pharmacist for 28 years with 17 of those years focused in long term care pharmacy. She has practiced at Christian City since 2010 when the on-site pharmacy opened, and became the manager in 2013.

Born and raised in Cedartown, GA, Kay has always lived in the state of Georgia except for her college years. She attended Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, TN, then transferred to Samford University in Birmingham, AL, to complete her B.S. in Pharmacy.

Kay and her husband, Lewis, have been married for 27 years. They have two grown children and one grandson. The couple volunteers regularly with Rainbow Omega, a residential facility for developmentally disabled adults in Eastaboga, Alabama. They are also actively involved members at West Metro Church of Christ in Hiram, GA.

In her spare time, Kay enjoys running and traveling.
